Travel to Beijing via Z-trains

Two weeks ago, Mos and I together with my friends went to sightsee Beijing. Because we have read good reviews on the net, we tried the non-stop soft-sleeper Z-train.

It was a well-spent 498 RMB . The rooms are quite comfortable and warm and we get 2 pillows each. On our way to Beijing since we are the only occupants of the room, then we get ultimate privacy.

Hi, Thanks for coming to my blog. I really enjoyed yours. The food looked delicious, and your life there sounds interesting and fun!

I used to live in South Korea when my husband was in the military. We lived downtown, not in base housing. I learned to speak some Korean and to shop in the markets.

I also taught English as a foreign language, on and off base. The on-base students liked me because they said I was the only teacher who finished the book! That was important to them. But, when I was in college, I was a foreign language major, and I hated the teachers who did not teach, merely talked about nothing. So, I was committed to teach something and finish the book!

Glad you like my blog.

P.S., I don't really know how to make a link. I'll have to ask my son today when he comes home from college for the weekend.

That is so cool. I think travelling with kids, that would be the ultimate way to go. I wish they had that option here. Sounds like such a great time!

Hello, thanks for reading my blog. Guess we housewives should stick together in the blogosphere, so lets link.

btw I lived in Japan for 2 years in the late 80s, not far from Kyoto. I also travelled in China. The cities are hardly recognisable now from the time when I was there in 1990. Enjoyed reading about your experiences.

I always take the cheap, slow trains. You certainly get what you pay for. That 28-hour ride to Harbin was awful.

That is such an experience. I remembered occupying the 4-person room as well for only the two of us from Milan to Southern Italy and it was indeed comfy to have the room left alone to the two of you who know or close to each other.

Im still dreaming to go to china. The other day I hit some ads for a tour and it was 1,300 USD... I need to save for that! ^^

Thanks for visiting travelinglavalles.blogspot.com. I followed the link to yours. Very nice. We also live over in Pudong. Also listen to Chinesepod - they do a good job.
Can certainly trade links, just educate me on how to do it.

Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
